We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Assistant to undertake research on the relation between childhood diet and risk of asthma, allergy and impaired lung function under the supervision of Professor Seif Shaheen. The postholder will be based in the Centre for Primary Care and Public Health, Blizard Institute, Barts and The London School of Medicine. This position is fixed-term for 24 months.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analysis of existing data from the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children, in collaboration with Bristol University. They will hold a PhD, and will have considerable experience of analysing epidemiological data.
The post is full time and fixed term for 24 months, starting in September 2018, or sooner if possible.Starting salary will be £32,956 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
