Postdoctoral scholar : San Francisco, CA, United States

A postdoc position is available in the Diaz laboratory, Brain Tumor Center, UCSF. Our lab is interested in the development of targeted therapeutics for the treatment of glioma. Our core competencies include systems and bioinformatics approaches.

This project will address the role of tumor heterogeneity in treatment resistance. Single-cell and bulk ‘omics, applied to clinical samples, will be an integral component. We are looking for someone to contribute to our wet-lab single-cell analysis program, who also has some interest in and competency for bioinformatics data analysis.

The ideal candidate will have training in basic laboratory techniques and some experience with single-cell RNA-seq, Cytoff or other single-cell assays. The position requires a PhD in the biomedical sciences.
