国外博士后招聘:丹麦哥本哈根大学和Rigshospitalet大学的分子癌研究中心博士后职位招聘

2 Post Doc positions are open as part of a newly established international programme on novel familial breast cancer factors. The positions are for highly motivated researchers with a desire to unravel new genetic risk factors and pathways in breast cancer as well as possible therapeutic interventions.

Our research

The goals of the current projects are to understand familial breast cancer by identifying genetic risk factors that can be exploited in the current management of breast cancer patients (see the following recent publications, pubmed IDs: 27515922; 27323328; 27113759; 26805514; 25953507, 27734835).

Projects and work places

Project 1, RH Cilius Nielsen

The project aims to identify novel breast cancer predisposing genes by means of WES and WGSand characterize tumors and the clinical features of affected patients. The Post Doc will be located at Rigshospitalets Center for Genomic Medicine where we perform NGS and array based breast cancer analysis for the Capital Region of Denmark. The Post Doc will be involved in NGS based mapping of novel genetic variants in HBOC and classification, LOH etc. and analysis of mutations in breast tumors. More information on the Centre for Genomic Medicine onhttps://www.rigshospitalet.dk/afdelinger-og-klinikker/diagnostisk/genomisk-medicin . For further information regarding the position, please contact Professor Finn Cilius Nielsen on e-mailfcn@rh.dk

Project 2, UCPH Sørensen

Our breast cancer consortium has applied exome sequencing to identify new factors that guard against breast cancer. The post doc will run medium-scale siRNA screens and validate high scoring factors with CRISPR-Cas9 modified cell models. The post doc will then unravel high scoring factors functional and mechanistic roles with focus on biochemical and cell biological approaches.

Our group consists of 10 dedicated researchers, and we have excellent research facilities in modern laboratories. More information on the Sørensen group onhttp://www.bric.ku.dk/research/Sorensen_Group/ For further information regarding the position, please contact Associate Professor Claus Storgaard Sørensen on e-mailclaus.storgaard@bric.ku.dk

Start: Preferably October 1st 2017 or after agreement

Duration: Both project are for 2 years. Up to 3 years additional employment is possible, so the total duration can be up to 5 years.

Qualifications

We expect you to be a highly motivated and highly ambitious scientist with the following qualifications:

• A PhD in Medicine or Life Sciences with focus on cancer biology, cancer genetics, biochemistry or similar

• A desire to make a difference through highly dedicated research

• Experimental expertise in genome maintenance pathways or cancer genetics

• Excellent English skills written and spoken

• For project 1: The successful applicant has experience in clinical and/or molecular genetics and high throughput NGS and array based analysis of cancers and in particular mutation mapping and characterization.

• For project 2: The preferred candidates have experience in generating CRISPR-Cas9 cell lines as well as documented experience in cell biology, molecular biology, and biochemistry

Places of employment

Project 1

The Centre for Genomic Medicine was established in 2010 as a strategic initiative to bring genome wide technologies to patient care. The laboratory is located in Rigshospitalet and is currently one of Denmark largest providers of molecular analysis. In connection to this project, we have established comprehensive analytic pipeline for solid cancers composed of tumor mutations, CNVs and expression profiles of the tumors and germline, that is comparable to any standard at a global level. The laboratory currently comprises about 40 technicians and academic personnel. and we aim at expanding with a newly established bioinformatics section.

Project 2

The employment is at BRIC, University of Copenhagen. BRIC is located in the Biocenter, close to the centre of Copenhagen. We offer creative and stimulating working conditions in a dynamic and international research environment. Our research facilities include modern laboratories and a number of core facilities shared between the 23 research groups at BRIC and the neighboring Finsen Laboratory. We have weekly journal clubs, data clubs, seminars with invited speakers and a young researchers club ASAP and our own PhD programme, MoMeD and our own Postdoc Career Programme. BRIC actively participates in the European alliance, EU-life consisting of 13 excellent life science research institutions http://eu-life.eu/

Please read more about the Sørensen research group and BRIC on http://www.bric.ku.dk/

Terms of salary and employment, and the further process

Salary, pension and terms of employment will be in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and The Academics Central organization. Currently, the monthly salary starts at 32,745 DKK/ca. 4,366 Euro plus pension. Depending on qualifications, a higher salary may be negotiated.
