A new postdoctoral research position is available in the laboratory of Dr.Lu to examine vascular-stromal regulation in lymph nodes and skin in the setting of lupus or scleroderma models and patients. See our recent papers in the Journal of Clinical Investigation and Immunity. The projects are basic to translational in nature. The work is at the exciting intersection of immunology, vascular biology, mesenchymal cell biology, fibrosis, and rheumatology, and candidates should have experience in immunology and/or vascular biology. We are at the Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell Medical School in an interactive scientific community that also includes Memorial Sloan Kettering and Rockefeller University. The Hospital for Special Surgery is the Rheumatology and Orthopedic arm of Weill Cornell’s New York-Presbyterian and is ranked #2 in Rheumatology and #1 in Orthopedics in the US by World and News Report. Postdoctoral fellows at Hospital for Special Surgery are eligible to obtain a Cornell postodoctoral appointment. There are excellent benefits.
