Postdoctoral Fellowships in Cardiovascular Research at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)

Postdoctoral positions will be available in the laboratories of Dr. Levy, Dr. FIshbein and Dr. Stachelek as of the 1st or 2nd quarter, 2017 on both a NHLBI Training Grant (T32) and other sponsored projects. The focus of the inter-related programs is research with a special emphasis on heart valve disease, biomaterials, arterial injury and stent angioplasty. Specific published topics include calcification, oxidative stress, CD47 modified materials, and gene delivery stents. Postdocs with both interest and experience in cardiovascular medicine should apply. Candidates with specific expertise in fields as cell and molecular biology, immunology, recombinant protein synthesis, platelet physiology, pharmaceutics and drug delivery systems, and pharmacology are strongly encouraged. Competitive salary & full benefits. Applicants for the NHLBI T32 training grant are restricted to resident aliens or U.S. citizens with PhD; MD; MD-PhD.
