Postdoctoral Research Associate- Neural Development/ Brain Cancer Research : Chicago, IL, United States

A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the neural development/brain tumor research laboratory of Dr. Anjen Chenn, Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology, University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. The successful candidate will study the regulation of brain tumor development by cell-cell adhesion signaling pathways using mouse models, cell culture, and computational/machine-learning methods. Candidates with expertise in using R, Python, Matlab or other methods of analyzing high-dimensional data in machine learning are especially attractive. Candidates can also participate in other ongoing laboratory projects in the neurodevelopment of autism. Applicants must have at minimum a peer-reviewed first author publication and Ph.D. degree from a relevant field (e.g. cancer biology, neuroscience, biostatistics, bioinformatics, etc.). Eligible candidates must have NO MORE THAN 2 YEARS prior postdoctoral experience.
