Postdoctoral Research Associate – Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders

The Biodesign Institute’s Neurodegenerative Research Center and Dr. Salvatore Oddo invite candidates to apply for a Postdoctoral Research Associate position to conduct research in molecular and behavioral alterations in animal models of Alzheimer disease and related age-dependent disorders. The focus of the research is investigate the molecular mechanism underlying behavioral alterations in mouse models of neurodegeneration. 

Minimum Qualifications
• Earned doctorate in neuroscience or related areas
• Knowledge and broad experience working with mice
• Ability to master biochemical and immunohistochemical techniques

Desired Qualifications
• Highly motivated individual with a solid publication record
• Experience in molecular and behavioral neuroscience
• Strong recommendations

Postdoctoral scholar appointments may be renewed annually on a fiscal year (July 1) basis for up to four years, so long as the postdoctoral scholar is within five years from receipt of the doctoral degree.
