Postdoctoral position in Plant Biology/Molecular Biology/Protein biochemistry

will be available from April 1st, 2016. The position is initially for 2 years with a possibility of renewal. Payment and benefits are according to German TVÖD.

We seek a motivated candidate with a PhD in plant biology (biology) and extensive knowledge and skills in molecular biology. Experience with Arabidopsis and/or Marchantia polymorpha is desirable but not required. Applicants should have published research results in peer-reviewed high quality journals, demonstrated creativity, independence, high motivation, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as with other members of our research group.

The candidate will work in a project aiming to understand basic framework of plant immune system by comparative and evolutionary genomics/proteomics-based approaches using Arabidopsis and Marchantia polymorpha.
