Job Title:Post Doctoral Scholar

Department: Medicine | Surgery Vascular

Ohio State University – Dr. Yanbo Fan’s Lab

Two postdoctoral positions with competitive salaries and benefits are available in Dr. Yanbo Fan’s Lab at The Ohio State University. The Fan Lab, within the Department of Surgery and Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute, focuses on cardiovascular diseases (atherosclerosis, aortic aneurysm, angiogenesis, etc.), cancer drug-induced cardiotoxicity, metabolic disorders, and the intersection of vascular biology with diabetes and cancer.

Qualifications:

A Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in physiology, biology, biomedical science, or a related field

Demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular physiology, vascular cell biology, or metabolic research

A strong publication record and evidence of research productivity

Ability to independently design and conduct experiments

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Experience:

Proficiency in molecular techniques relevant to cardiovascular biology and metabolism

Gained hands-on experience with mouse surgical models
