Position Qualification

Position Summary

Seeking a post-doctoral research associate with a background in biology and neuroscience. Projects in the lab focus on studying the effects of hypoxia/ischemia on the developing newborn brain and involve skills skills such as small animal handling and interventions, cell culture and sterile technique, and common laboratory techniques such as gel electrophoresis, western blot, RNA extraction, and RT-PCR.

PhD or MD/PhD

Since we are a small lab, this position provides for graduated autonomy and therefore requires someone who is self-driven and is able to work independently when needed.
