Job description:

Prerequisite:

The optimal candidate should have a MD or PhD degree, a strong background in virology (ideally herpesvirus and/or coronavirus oriented) and/or immunology (ideally, T cell based), but candidates with strong expertise in flow cytometry, live cell imaging and animal models of infection will also be considered. Our lab combines advanced virus genetics with multiparametric flow cytometry and quantitative real-time live-cell imaging of the infection process.

•Knowledge of security policies

•Knowledge of Windows Office package

•Knowledge of FlowJo and Graphad Prism

•Ability to work in a team

The project will focus on studies of immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 infection in animal models and in human cell culture systems. The candidate will utilize recombinant viral mutants or new variants of SARS-CoV-2 in the study of immune protection and immune pathogenesis of COVID infection. Solid English language proficiency is required.
