Department SASN - Center for Molecular & Behavioral Neuroscience (CMBN) Salary Open Posting Summary

The Zaborszky laboratory, Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience, Rutgers University-Newark, seeks a Post-Doctoral Associate to begin about October 1, 2021. The successful candidate should be a neuroanatomist with multiple years of experience in mapping brain sections with relevant publication record. Responsibilities will include designing experiments related to cortico-cortical connections, including stereotaxic surgery, histology, tissue preparation, data analyzing and writing manuscripts in a highly-independent manner. The successful candidate is expected to participate in various laboratory activities, collaborate with other lab members, and participate in training of undergraduate students. This is a calendar-year, grant-funded appointment, renewable on a yearly basis, contingent upon satisfactory performance and continued grant funding.
