The Developmental Immunology team in Lund University, Sweden, is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to join an ERC funded project focused on understanding the regulation and impact of developmental changes in B cell output.

Using cellular barcoding and traditional lineage tracing mouse models, in conjunction with VDJ sequencing, and gene expression analysis, we interrogate how changes in stem cell fates influence downstream immunological complexity. Furthermore, we are using genetic and biochemical tools to dissect the role of the fetal RNA-binding protein Lin28b on early life immune development.

Our team is a part of the Division of Molecular Hematology which is associated with the Lund Stem Cell Center, with access to state-of-the-art core facilities for single-cell gene expression analyses, bioinformatics, FACS, virus production and more.

Candidates with a passion for immunology and/or hematopoiesis and who are currently finishing up their PhD thesis work are encouraged to apply. Prior experience in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry and/or bioinformatics are preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required for consideration.

The successful candidate is genuinely passionate about academic research, an avid reader of literature and will be expected to independently drive their research project(s), write for grants, supervise students and work collaboratively within the team.
