Postdoctoral Research Position in Osteoimmunology

A new postdoctoral position is available at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. The successful candidate will participate in research projects recently funded by NIH. The project seeks to understand how aging contributes to bone loss through the expansion of myeloid-derived suppressor cell populations in oral and non-oral bone. The studies integrate RNA biology, osteoclastogenesis and skeletal biology. The successful candidate must have a MD or PhD degree in biomedical science with published experience in any of these fields: molecular biology, cell biology, bone/osteoclast biology, or transgenic animal work. Recent graduates will receive substantially more favorable consideration than applicants who have completed 3-4 years of postdoc training.
