Two postdoc positions available:

Postdoctoral fellowship in protein biochemistry and biophysics

The position focuses on protein biochemistry to work on novel RNA export complexes which are related to cancer is available. Studies Successful candidates should have substantial experience in protein biochemistry including FPLC-based purification methods, protein expression screening and experience with basic protein biophysics skills including circular dichroism, ITC, and related technologies. Protein NMR or X-ray experience is an additional plus.

Candidates should not have a obtained a PhD before 2017. PhD students who are nearing graduation may also apply. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Postdoctoral fellowship in RNA metabolism

The position focusses on novel roles of eIF4E in various steps of RNA processing. Successful candidates should have substantial experience in RNA biology including RNA isolation, nuclear cytoplasmic fractionation, quantitative PCR, RNA-Seq analysis and substantial experience with mammalian cell culture including production of stable cell lines.

Candidates should not have a obtained a PhD before 2017. PhD students who are nearing graduation may also apply. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
