Job Description
An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available immediately to study pulmonary infection and mucosal vaccine development in Dr. Lei Jin’s laboratory at the University of Florida, Department of Medicine, Pulmonary Division. Experimental models focus on genetically modified mice and human samples. The research focus includes discovering new in vivo mechanisms regulating innate and adaptive immune responses during pulmonary infection and mucosal vaccine responses.
Requirements
Highly motivated individuals with a Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Microbiology or related discipline. Applicants with experience in flow cytometry, respiratory pathogens, and mice work are preferred. Candidates should have a good command of the English language and be able to work independently as well as a team member.
