Job Description

A postdoctoral research position is available immediately to study intracellular host-virus interactions and viral oncology at the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center of the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. The project seeks to understand the roles of human herpesvirus 8 (HHV-8, also known as Kaposi sarcoma-associated herpesvirus)-encoded gene products in virus and cell biology and associated pathogenesis. Candidate must have a recent Ph.D. in a field related to molecular and cellular biology, viral oncology, or innate immunology. Funding is for 3 years with possibility of renewal depending on performance and funding.
