The Fasan Group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Rochester has open postdoctoral positions for highly motivated candidates who are interested in working on projects related to either (a) the discovery, development, and characterization of macrocyclic peptide-based molecules for targeting and modulating cancer-related protein-protein interactions, or (b) the design and protein engineering of heme-dependent enzymes as biocatalysts for C-H functionalization. The ideal candidate has a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry or related area, and an established background in Bioorganic Chemistry/Peptide Chemistry or in Biocatalysis/Protein engineering, respectively.
