The Diabetes, Obesity and Metabolism Institute (DOMI) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City is seeking a PhD postdoctoral fellow in immunology, relating to type 1 diabetes. Applicants should be committed to a career in academic research, and have a strong interest in diabetes research. Applicants who have strong backgrounds and expertise in the areas listed below are preferred. Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in one or more of these areas. Job Qualifications

Advanced knowledge in immunology

Advanced skills in flow cytometry, cell sorting, and CyTOF

Advanced skills in cell biology, protein chemistry, immunoblotting, immunohistochemistry, confocal imaging, cell culture and molecular biology techniques

Expertise in T-cell biology and autoimmunity will be a plus….
