Postdoctoral Fellow – Molecular Biology

National Jewish Health in Denver, CO invites applications for a post-doctoral position under the mentorship of Dr. Anthony N. Gerber. The Gerber lab focuses on the molecular systems biology of gene regulation in lung disease. This position will investigate mechanisms of glucocorticoid receptor activity in airway epithelial and smooth muscle cells, including genomics-based studies of the glucocorticoid receptor transcriptome and cistrome in cells from normal and asthmatic airways. Analysis of the role of glucocorticoid target genes in murine models of asthma is also expected. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and expertise in molecular biology. This position is suitable for scientists planning careers in either industry or academic science.
