We seek a talented, enthusiastic and experienced individual to work as Senior Post-Doc / Assistant Group Leader.

We are looking for an individual with 3 to 5 years of postdoctoral experience, the ability and skills to supervise and guide PhD students, and the strong will to address and accomplish medically relevant questions. The successful candidate should have a solid background in molecular and systems biology, a good understanding of the complexities involved in taking a systems biology based finding to a wet bench experiment, and experience in manuscript preparation and submission. The candidate is expected to strengthen the groups’ research focus, which has recently shifted from ribosomal antibiotics towards an integrative study of the cellular response to ribosomal mistranslation applying mechanistically based biochemical studies and whole genome transcriptomic, metabolomic, and proteomic approaches.
