Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time fixed term position as an Early Stage Researcher with the Centre for Research in Medical Devices (CÚRAM), at the National University of Ireland, Galway.

This position is funded by the Horizon 2020 programme of the European Union and is available from August 2017. The appointment will be on a temporary basis for a maximum period of 2 years (regular employment contract). BrainMatTrain is a four-year project, funded by the European Union Horizon 2020 Programme (H2020-MSCA-ITN-2015) under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Initial Training Network and Grant Agreement No. 676408. The project focuses on the scale up, commercialisation and translation of functionalised biomaterial constructs for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. The BrainMatTrain network comprises four academic institutes, two hospitals and two industry partners from seven European countries (Ireland, Austria, Sweden, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, and United Kingdom).
