We are looking for a highly motivated Post-Doc/Technician to assist in the development of our advanced gene editing technology. The successful candidate must be organized, able to manage his/her own project, and contribute to the success of the team.

Applicants must have the following competence:

PhD (or have at least 3 years experience in a molecular biology laboratory)

Proficient in mammalian cell culture

Significant experience with molecular biology techniques

- Cloning

- DNA Isolation

- RNA Isolation

- Western Blotting

- Etc.

Experience working with viral delivery systems (preferably lentivirus and/or adeno associated virus)

Experience with gene editing assays including competence in FACS to measure gene repair/inactivation

Working knowledge of de novo NGS sequence analysis

In addition, candidates most likely to succeed will:

Have supervised more junior researchers

Good laboratory practices – organization and documentation of results is critical

Be proficient at explaining advanced concepts

Have advanced proficiency in Microsoft powerpoint, excel, and word….
