A postdoctoral position is available at the Department of Pathology and Immunology, University of Geneva, in the laboratory of Prof. W-H Boehncke.

The group focuses on the pathophysiology of chronic inflammation, combining state- of-the art methods in molecular and cellular immunology with clinical and translational research. The successful candidate shall support ongoing projects on interactions between immune cells and keratinocytes in psoriasis. Our research is performed in close cooperation with other groups within the department as well as neighboring universities, giving access to specimen from recent clinical studies as well as several already established animal models.

Qualifications required: PhD in biology or a related field, and a solid background in immunology or skin biology. Experience in animal experiments and/or imaging techniques would be a plus. Young candidates seeking their first or second appointment are particularly encouraged to apply.

Starting date: Ideally, the successful candidate should take on the new position no later than October 2017

Duration: 3 years plus possible extension on a faculty-sponsored position
