Description: 

The Yang Engineering Immunity Lab in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics and the Broad Stem Cell Research Center at UCLA is currently seeking for highly skilled and motivated postdoctoral researchers in tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy. The Yang Laboratory focuses on dissecting the cellular and molecular mechanisms regulating tumor immunology and utilizing the knowledge to engineer immune cells against cancer. Working closely with a group of world-class scientists and clinicians from UCLA/Caltech/USC/COH at the Los Angeles area, the Yang Laboratory provides broad trainings and a highly collaborative environment for basic and clinical translational cancer immunology research.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Biology, Immunology, Bioengineering or related field with extensive knowledge and experience in molecular biology, cell biology and animal study

• Strong research experience in tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy (preferred)

Ability to work independently and also in a group/collaborative environment

• Effective communications skills, self-motivated
