Job Description

Postdoctoral fellow positions are available to study molecular and cellular mechanisms of pain and synaptic transmission and plasticity. Candidates should have solid graduate training in neuroscience, biochemistry, or epigenetics and a strong publication record using molecular biology, imaging, patch-clamp electrophysiological recordings, viral vectors, or proteomics (protein-protein interaction) approaches. Ongoing studies include epigenetic and transcriptional control of gene expression in chronic pain, ion channel physiology, synaptic plasticity, and cardiovascular control and hypertension development.
