Postdoctoral position in Proteomics at IOCB : Praha 6, Czech Republic

Post-doc in Proteomics

We are looking for a highly competent and self-motivated postdoctoral researcher in the area of proteomics and mass spectrometry to run proteomics projects in our core facility lab as a collaborative support for the diverse life-science research projects at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry AS CR (IOCB) in Prague, Czech Republic. The expected starting date for the appointment is September 1, 2017.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Development and application of MS-based proteomics methods for the identification, quantification and characterization of proteins as well as characterization of protein structure (HX-MS, XL-MS, etc.) 

· Collaborative and service support for the research projects at IOCB 

· Operation and maintenance of mass spectrometers (mainly TripleTOF, Synapt G2, Orbitrap)
