A postdoctoral research position is opening on Aug. 1, 2014 for x-ray absorption and synchrotron radiation-related research group at Physics Department of Tamkang University.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in studies of the semiconductor alloys, the magnetic materials, nanomaterials, using x-ray absorption (XAS) and photoemission spectroscopy (PES), x-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) and scanning photoelectron emission microscopy (SPEM). The experiments will be carried out at the National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC) in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The position is for one year and is renewable contingent upon applicant performance.
