Position: Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Site: Toronto General Hospital Research Institute

Department: Experimental Therapeutics

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Status: Temporary Full-time

A postdoctoral position is available in the Division of Experimental Therapeutics at the Toronto General Hospital Research Institute, Toronto, Canada for a highly motivated and detail oriented PhD who aims to develop an independent research career. The candidate will be working on projects involving in vivo models of vascularized tissue transplantation.

Qualifications: PhD degree awarded within the past 5 years or MD or DDS degree awarded within the previous 10 years

Solid experience with in vivo animal models and cell culture

Hands-on experience in flow cytometry and confocal imaging preferred

Excellent problem recognition and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and accurately under stressful conditions

Ability to work effectively as a team member
