| Columbia University Department of Biological Sciences The Department of Biological Sciences at Columbia University in the city of New York is seeking applicants for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist position beginning February 5, 2017. Postdoctoral position in biotechnology. This project will use genome editing to create improved mammalian cell lines to be used for the industrial production of monoclonal antibodies. This research is sponsored by a pharmaceutical company. Expertise in the construction of plasmid vectors and mammalian cell culture is required. Biochemistry experience is a plus.
