Job Description

The Usherwood lab is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher interested in studying novel approaches for T cell therapy for chronic infectious disease and cancer. Candidates should have a Ph.D in immunology and proficiency with molecular biology, flow cytometry and research involving mouse model systems. Experience with retroviral transduction, cre/lox mouse breeding, multicolor flow cytometry and in vitro T cell assays are particularly useful. Preferred candidates will have several publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of immunology. The laboratory is located in the dynamic Microbiology and Immunology Department at Dartmouth, with access to state-of-the-art core facilities, a very collegial work environment and many career development opportunities. The upper Connecticut Valley offers an excellent standard of living, with ready access to Dartmouth College facilities and a wealth of outdoor pursuits.
