Open Postdoc Position in Neuroscience Computing

Are you excited about advancing brain stimulation technologies to improve the lives of people with neurological or psychiatric disorders? Join our dynamic research group as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) and contribute to the next wave of innovation in neurotechnology.

We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative scientist or engineer to join our interdisciplinary team working at the intersection of neuroscience, neuroengineering, and clinical translation. Our group has a long-standing collaboration with leading neuroscientists and clinicians worldwide, offering a stimulating and well-connected research environment. While the position spans a broad spectrum of DBS-related topics, special emphasis will be placed on adaptive and personalized stimulation strategies — developing systems that can respond dynamically to neural and behavioral signals in real time.

Your Role:

Develop and evaluate new methods for optimizing DBS therapy — from imaging and modeling to stimulation protocols.

Analyze electrophysiological, behavioral, and neuroimaging data from clinical and experimental studies.

Contribute to ongoing projects in adaptive DBS, exploring how closed-loop approaches can improve therapeutic precision.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neuroscientists, clinicians, and engineers.

Publish high-quality research and contribute to grant writing and future project planning.

Ideal Background:

PhD in neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computational neuroscience, or a related field.

Experience with brain stimulation, neurophysiology, or neural signal processing.

Familiarity with tools such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis.

Interest in translational research and bridging the gap between lab and clinic.
